November 23rd 2009: the 'NEW FUTURE' of darph/nadeR
OK OK - so not only did we NOT give up on this darph/nadeR thing, but we've also added a NEW official member for the first time in our entire 10 year history! yes, please welcome Nicole Hatley as the NEW member of darph/nadeR, now making us a trio!!!
So, it has been a long time since this site has been updated, but we'd like to promise you that we are back 100%, with new releases, shows, and other such fun already planned and set in motion!
BIG NEWS!!! HARDWARE WARS 30th ANNIVERSARY DVD TO BE RELEASED.....
darph/nadeR is helping the kind folks at Apprehensive Films promote this awesome
new release of the old-school 'Star Wars' parody, written and directed by
comedic genius Ernie Fosselius! (note: THIS IS THE FILM
THAT WE GOT OUR NAME FROM! THAT'S RIGHT, FOLKS - NOT RALPH NADER!)
as they say: "Before the Robot Chicken Parody, Before the Family Guy
Parody...Way Way Before!!!" the actual store release of the DVD isn't
until Feb. 2010, but you can pick it up on their website RIGHT NOW!!!
it's jam-packed with over 60 minutes of awesome extras, has a seriously clever
package design, the film is digitally remastered with stereo sound from the
original UNCUT version of the film (it looks AMAZING!!!), commentary by the
director Ernie Fosselius, and lots more coolness to go around! as obvious
HUGE fans of this film, as well as the other work of his we've seen, darph/nadeR
recommends this with all the excitement, love, and obsessiveness that we can
